Role Overview – Head Chef
The successful Head Chef will take full responsibility for the day-to-day kitchen operation, leading and managing a team of seven chefs within a busy BBQ restaurant.
This role requires someone who is highly operational, organised, and confident managing a busy kitchen environment. You will be responsible for maintaining consistently high food standards, managing the kitchen team effectively, and ensuring the smooth delivery of quality food and service.
This role would suit an experienced Head Chef with strong leadership and operational management skills who enjoys working with great ingredients and producing consistently excellent food.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of a busy restaurant kitchen
Manage, motivate, and develop a team of seven chefs
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
Work with quality ingredients to deliver great food
Take responsibility for kitchen organisation, standards, and team performance
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for:
Previous experience as a Head Chef within a busy restaurant environment
Strong operational and kitchen management experience
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
A passion for cooking great food using quality ingredients
The ability to maintain high standards in a busy service environment
