Role Overview – Head Chef
The successful Head Chef will lead a small, close-knit kitchen team within an intimate restaurant and dining room.
The food will be simple, relaxed and highly focused on the quality of the ingredients, with the Head Chef responsible for maintaining consistently high culinary standards while allowing the produce to speak for itself.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Develop simple but carefully considered menus
• Maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
• Lead and develop a small kitchen team
• Work closely with the team to maintain a smooth operation
• Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, organisation and food safety
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• Background within quality restaurants or ingredient-led kitchens
• Passion for simple, focused and beautifully executed food
• Confident leading a small kitchen team
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• A hands-on approach and genuine passion for cooking
