Maison Gastronomique is recruiting a Sole Chef for a small local café in North London, producing food for a relaxed neighbourhood setting of up to 30 covers.

This is a straightforward daytime role offering a good work-life balance, with no late evenings and Mondays off.

The café has a small team and is looking for a reliable, hands-on chef who is happy working independently and helping to produce the food for the business.

Sole Chef Role

  • £16 per hour

  • 5 days per week

  • 7.30am – 3.00pm

  • Closed Mondays

  • Small local café

  • Up to 30 covers

  • Immediate start preferred

The Sole Chef

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on chef who is comfortable working independently and producing food for a small local café.

Specific baking experience is not essential, as the café buys in some products and uses frozen items where required.

This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for consistent daytime hours, a small team and a better work-life balance outside the kitchen.

You’ll need to be organised, reliable and happy taking responsibility for the kitchen and the daily food production.
