Role Overview – Head Baker
The successful Head Baker will oversee the day-to-day running of the bakery, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality viennoiserie, pâtisserie, and artisan breads.
Working a 45-hour week, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected bakery committed to quality, consistency, and exceptional products.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day bakery operation
• Produce exceptional viennoiserie, pâtisserie, and artisan breads
• Maintain high standards of quality and consistency
• Support and develop the bakery team
• Manage production to ensure products are prepared efficiently
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and bakery standards
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for:
• Previous experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker
• Strong background in French baking
• Experience producing viennoiserie, pâtisserie, and artisan breads
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Passion for quality baking and exceptional ingredients
