Role Overview – Head Chef
The successful Head Chef will oversee the day-to-day kitchen operation, managing a brigade of four chefs while delivering an ingredient-led menu focused on quality British produce and simple, expertly executed dishes.
Serving around 50 covers, this role offers significant creative freedom and the opportunity to shape the menu from launch. Beyond the restaurant, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider group's food development, making this an exciting career move with genuine progression.
This role would suit an experienced Head Chef or an ambitious Sous Chef looking to step into their first Head Chef position.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Take full ownership of menu development and seasonal dishes
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four chefs
Deliver consistently high-quality, ingredient-led cooking
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for:
Previous experience as a Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready to step into a Head Chef role
Passion for ingredient-led cooking and exceptional British produce
Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
Experience developing menus and maintaining high culinary standards
